Fragments of a face

Fragments of a face, pieces of a feeling.

In this project, I explore the fragile space between presence and disappearance. Through photography, I try to give shape to the way I experience the relationships around me.

This series reflects a quiet and constant phenomenon in all our lives: we meet people, we share time and pieces of ourselves with them, and they become part of our journey. For a while, they are there, familiar, close, present. Then, suddenly, something shifts. Different choices, different directions, life moving forward beyond our control. There is nothing we can do but accept its flow.

And when people drift away, part of what we felt seems to fade with them, leaving behind traces: fragments of faces, scattered pieces of memory suspended around us.

I carry with me fragments of the people I have met along the way. Perhaps we all do. Perhaps memory is the only place where what has passed can still remain alive.
